These terms explain how SkillLink works and what we expect from Business Owners and Freelancers. Please read them before using the app.

About SkillLink
SkillLink is an online freelance marketplace in Myanmar. It connects Business Owners with Freelancers and content creators so they can post projects, apply for work, communicate, and record payment proof inside the app.
Who can use SkillLink
- You must give true information about yourself or your business.
- One person or business should not pretend to be someone else.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details safe.
Business Owner responsibilities
- Describe your project, budget and deadline clearly and honestly.
- Pay through the official SkillLink KPay process before work starts.
- Review submitted work fairly and on time.
- Communicate respectfully with Freelancers.
Freelancer responsibilities
- Only show portfolio work that is truly yours.
- Apply with a realistic price and delivery time.
- Start work only after SkillLink approves the payment.
- Deliver the agreed work through the app.
Project posting rules
- Projects must be legal, clear and genuine.
- Do not post the same project many times.
- Do not use project posts for advertising or spam.
Application and acceptance rules
- A Freelancer can apply once per project.
- A Business Owner chooses one Freelancer to accept.
- Accepting an application creates the project agreement inside SkillLink.
Messaging rules
- Chat opens only after a Freelancer is accepted for a project.
- Keep messages related to the project and respectful.
- Do not use messages to arrange payment outside SkillLink.
KPay payment process
- KPay is currently the only accepted payment method.
- The Business Owner pays SkillLink first using KPay and uploads the payment screenshot.
- SkillLink admin verifies the payment proof.
- The Freelancer starts work only after the payment is approved.
SkillLink 7% platform fee
After the Business Owner approves the completed work, SkillLink keeps a 7% platform fee from the project amount. This fee supports payment verification, dispute handling and running the marketplace.
Freelancer 93% payout
The Freelancer receives 93% of the project amount into their Earnings Balance once the Business Owner approves the completed work.
Minimum withdrawal amount: 50,000 MMK
A Freelancer can request a withdrawal when their Available Balance reaches at least 50,000 MMK.
Manual payout process
- Withdrawal Requests are reviewed by SkillLink admin.
- SkillLink sends the payout manually using KPay.
- Admin marks the payout as paid once the transfer is completed.
Refunds and disputes
If there is a problem with submitted work, the Business Owner can open a dispute. SkillLink admin reviews the project, messages, payment proof and submitted work before making a decision. Full details are in our Refund & Dispute Policy.
Prohibited activities
- Scams, fake profiles and fake portfolio work.
- Asking users to pay outside the official SkillLink KPay process.
- Harassment, threats, harmful or illegal content.
- Spam messages and repeated unwanted contact.
Account suspension
SkillLink may warn, limit, suspend or remove any account that breaks these terms, our Community Guidelines or the law.
Offline Meetings and Outside-App Activity
SkillLink is an online freelance marketplace that helps Business Owners and Freelancers connect, communicate, manage projects, and handle payment proof inside the app. SkillLink does not arrange, supervise, verify, or take responsibility for any offline or in-person meetings between users. If users choose to meet outside the app, they do so at their own risk. SkillLink is not responsible for any problem, loss, damage, payment issue, safety issue, or dispute that happens during or after an offline meeting.
SkillLink သည် Business Owner နှင့် Freelancer များကို app အတွင်းမှ ချိတ်ဆက်ပေးသော online freelance marketplace ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ SkillLink သည် app အပြင်ဘက်တွင် လူကိုယ်တိုင်တွေ့ဆုံခြင်း၊ သီးသန့်ညှိနှိုင်းခြင်း၊ သီးသန့်ငွေပေးချေခြင်းများကို စီစဉ်ပေးခြင်း၊ ကြီးကြပ်ခြင်း၊ အတည်ပြုပေးခြင်း မလုပ်ပါ။ အသုံးပြုသူများသည် app အပြင်ဘက်တွင် ကိုယ်တိုင်တွေ့ဆုံရန် ဆုံးဖြတ်ပါက မိမိတို့၏ ကိုယ်ပိုင်တာဝန်နှင့် ကိုယ်ပိုင်အန္တရာယ်ဖြင့်သာ ပြုလုပ်ခြင်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ထိုသို့ app အပြင်ဘက်တွင် တွေ့ဆုံခြင်းကြောင့် ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာသော ပြဿနာ၊ ဆုံးရှုံးမှု၊ ထိခိုက်မှု၊ ငွေကြေးပြဿနာ သို့မဟုတ် အငြင်းပွားမှုများအတွက် SkillLink မှ တာဝန်ယူမည်မဟုတ်ပါ။
Payments outside SkillLink
SkillLink is not responsible for payments made outside the official SkillLink KPay payment process. If money is sent directly between users, we cannot verify it, protect it or use it in a dispute decision.
Limitation of responsibility
SkillLink provides the marketplace and tools. We do not perform the freelance work ourselves and we do not guarantee the results of any project. Our responsibility is limited to the payment amount recorded and verified inside SkillLink for that project.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms as SkillLink grows. When we make important changes, we will show a notice in the app. Continuing to use SkillLink means you accept the updated terms.
