KPay Payment Policy

KPay is currently the only payment method on SkillLink. This page explains how project money moves, step by step.

How a project payment works

  1. 1The Business Owner accepts a Freelancer for the project.
  2. 2The Business Owner pays SkillLink using KPay.
  3. 3The Business Owner uploads the KPay payment screenshot as proof.
  4. 4SkillLink admin verifies the KPay payment.
  5. 5The Freelancer starts work only after the payment is approved.
  6. 6The Freelancer submits the completed work in the app.
  7. 7The Business Owner approves the completed work.
  8. 8SkillLink keeps a 7% platform fee and adds 93% to the Freelancer's Earnings Balance.

Platform fee and Freelancer share

  • SkillLink takes a 7% platform fee after the Business Owner approves the completed work.
  • The Freelancer receives 93% of the project amount into their Earnings Balance.

Earnings Balance terms

Your Earnings Balance is a record of what SkillLink owes you for approved work. It is not a bank account or a financial wallet, and it does not hold or transfer money on its own.

  • Pending Earnings — money from work that is not approved yet.
  • Available Balance — approved money you can request as a withdrawal.
  • Withdrawal Request — your request for SkillLink to send your money by KPay.
  • Pending Payout — a requested withdrawal that SkillLink has not sent yet.

Withdrawals

  • You can send a Withdrawal Request when your Available Balance is at least 50,000 MMK.
  • SkillLink admin reviews the request.
  • SkillLink sends the payout manually using KPay to the account name and number you provide.
  • Admin marks the payout as paid once the transfer is completed.

Please make sure

  • Your KPay account name and number are correct before requesting a withdrawal.
  • Your payment screenshot clearly shows the amount, date and receiver.

Payments outside SkillLink

SkillLink is not responsible for payments made outside the official SkillLink KPay payment process.
